Logical Error in Report Crime feature #33

How can a crime be committed with "0" criminals ? That is something that ought to be looked at in my opinion . screenshot from 2014-01-29 18 38 42

I think a lot of our record types currently do not implement the templates specified in https://github.com/WiseEarthTechnology/CrisisCommunicator/wiki/Saving%2C-Storing%2C-Sending-Messages#wiki--41-crime-

A quick answer for what 0 criminals means it would be "unknown". However, we hadn't specified the number of criminals as part of the message template (it's a good idea, and I've added it to the specification).

However, for a disaster first responder, the more important parameters might be nature of the crime (murder / sexual depravity / looting / riotous behaviour / other). That is why the comment field is listed as recommended. It seems unlikely to me that, while observing the crime, they would be able to do a quick headcount. :)

Couldn't agree more :) I think a comment field would solve majority of the issues here .

Hi @swiftarrow ! I'm doing good :+1: . How are you doing ? I know it's been a really long time since my last commit. I did drop by the IRC a few times, I think it'd be great if we could be more active on the IRC channel :)

Btw, what should this issue be labelled as ? Bug/Enhancement/Something else/Nothing ?

Hey @harishnavnit glad you're still around! Enhancement, at this point, I'd guess! I haven't figured out a way to be ever-present on IRC and productive at the same time :)

Nice to have the tag of another enhancement for an issue that I reported. However, I won't be able to work on this in the near future. I'll get back to this whenever I find some spare time :)

Hey :) Yes, it's been a long time. Exams have definitely not gone well :P but it's all over now.

Well, I'm afraid I haven't. I'm busy with organizing a MiniDebConf and even before that I'm likely to be involved in SoK. I doubt if I can manage all together.
