@benzitohhh will do this.
I added some Scratch challenges here: https://github.com/WizzieWizzie/howto/wiki/Coding-challenges
These are all from the "Coding for beginners using Scratch" book (Usborne).
Nothing earth-shatteringly original. And maybe a bit prescriptive just following the book.
But I found it helpful going through these examples, and thinking about them in terms of "challenges". I definitely think framing them this way ("can you make a game that does X?") could make them more interesting and appealing to the kids.
Also from a lazy teacher (and scratch-o-phobe) perspective, it's really nice to have the fully working example code.
Will try and add some python ones too.
@pablobm Do we have the Osborne python book ("Coding for beginners using Python")? If not, could we order some?
@benzitohhh - Thanks for that! I think that's a great start. I agree framing those as challenges could be the way to go.
We don't have any Python books. I suspect that @madebydavid could get hold of one or two for testing?
@pablobm ok great thanks
@madebydavid - Get us copies of the Python book!
Add these to Wiki.
