Try upgrade a small Dell and see if it performs better at the big screen at West Library.

Dell D430 max ram is 2GB - one onboard, one in SODIMM slot. Ours already have this much installed. :-( The only other possible upgrade is SSD although this wouldn't help with scratch performance.
