SMB3 locked world doors so once a castle is beat it unlocks a shortcut
SMB3 world npc that can be linked to levels.

Coding my own smb3 game engine.

Maybe there could be world item's like keys that can unlock SMB3 locked doors without needing to beat a catsle like in super mario war.
Maybe we could have seperate keys and doors like in super mario war like...
