The exchange button should allow to transfer an event record from one platform to another. For the SMW compatible platforms WikiSon and the MediaWiki API is used (with py-3rdpartywiki) and for other platforms it depends on avaialability (e.g. Wikidata using pywikibot).

confref might be accessible via API ...
