The Hewlett Foundation describes OER as "freely licensed, remixable learning resources",[18] further including the Creative Commons definition of OER as "teaching, learning, and research materials that are either (a) in the public domain or (b) licensed in a manner that provides everyone with free and perpetual permission to engage in the 5R activities – retaining, remixing, revising, reusing and redistributing the resources."

Is all content on Wiki* educational? What are we supposed to map then? At what level?

In 2003, the ownership of Wikipedia and Wiktionary projects was transferred to the Wikimedia Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization whose goal is to collect and develop free educational content and to disseminate it effectively and globally. Wikipedia ranks in the top-ten most visited websites worldwide since 2007.

From Wikipedia page of Wikimedia:

The Wikimedia Foundation's mission is "to empower and engage people around the world to collect and develop educational content under a free license or in the public domain, and to disseminate it effectively and globally."[13]

Can you clarify the approval process? (e.g. scientific committee - do they need to be users?) Do we need to think of an interface and access right for them?

Current architecture or workflow documentation? even a demo would be great. The current workflow is the weak part because there is only one access to create new record and to approve them while the proposal is to have two profiles: editor (everyone) and approver (selected from a pool of experts).

What means 'high-level'?

Many international and Swiss partners like EPFL, Universität Zürich, ETH Zürich, Wikidata, Wikimedia Foundation, Wiki Education, OpenStreetMap, and Université de Neuchâtel recognized the need for it and have joined forces to provide a high-level selection of projects, training, and events to the education stakeholders.

What exact need did they recognise?

Many international and Swiss partners like EPFL, Universität Zürich, ETH Zürich, Wikidata, Wikimedia Foundation, Wiki Education, OpenStreetMap, and Université de Neuchâtel recognized the need for it and have joined forces to provide a high-level selection of projects, training, and events to the education stakeholders.

Why would they use your platform (vs. https://d-skills.ch/, https://www.oercommons.org/)?

Purpose: Existing projects/resources/news from Wiki universe vs. teachers uploading new content (that is not in the Wiki universe)?

Can you give an example of a data point that is not yet there (among the 32)? Alternatively: does our collection of additional data points (see Google Sheet) make sense? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IoihpdqrS3cE2rfukDXDEC0aeEJ_Wnd0g9PoiSz11jk/edit?usp=sharing

Can you prioritize the following three items?

Priority (a): "OpenEdu was originally created so that teachers could share materials with other teachers across the country and get a new perspective."

Priority (b): "While that is still very much at the core of OpenEdu, Wikimedia CH has decided to go one step further and include training to support #lifelonglearning for teachers on how to use digital tools in the classroom."

Priority (c):

Can you prioritize the following users?

(a) Wiki* community

(b) Swiss universities & students

Do you wanna keep the categories: projects, tools, news?
