[Suggestion] Steam Trading Card Support/Ideas #625

I was mentioning this before, but if possible, trading card support could be a potential feature for the Steam port of S&L. This includes not only trading cards but unlockable badges, profile backgrounds, and emotes.

Here are some impromptu trading card depictions based on certain cutscenes of the Secret Worlds story:

A possible unlockable Background after crafting a badge:

And roughly featured on a profile:

For emotes, an obvious pick would be various characters (Stinky, Chomper, etc.) using emote codes like :snlstinky: or :snlchomper:.

An idea for a badge lineup would be something like: Level 1: Star Level 2: Bronze Star Level 3: Silver Star Level 4: Gold Star Level 5: Rainbow Star Foil: Superstar

FOLLOW-UP: I said before on Discord that people could contribute to various art/drawings for trading card images or other. Here, I was using a theme that fits the aesthetics well with the game. What do you think?

These suggestions look great! Unfortunately, Steam doesn't allow games to use community items (trading cards and wallpapers included) until the game has reached some unspecified level of success - see https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/marketing/profile. I'm deferring this issue to a future release and will look at it once S&L meets Steam's standards to use it.
