Remember that when you buy and stake TIME, the Rebase % and APY apply to your amout of TIME, not the $ collateral! As TIME itself is a crypto, it does change in it's Value. So when you talk about "initial Investment" decreased, I think TIME price dropped (as it did the last few days). Let me know for further help
