On my old keyboard I could set the poll rate (125/250/1000) which fixes input bugs (inputs not always registering) in older games, I'd appreciate if this was added.
This would be great for Rocket League players. Manufacturers like GameSir already allow 1000hz polling rate on some of their Xinput devices like the T4 Kaleid. The analog polling rates on Wooting keyboards should also go as high as their digital modes, and this would be preferably the same across all supported OSes.
I have noticed that the polling rate for analog controls are much lower compared to the digital aspects of the keyboard. The Xbox mode seems to poll at 250hz and the generic controller polls at 125hz.
I propose that in models that would support a higher polling rate (e.g. boards with newer microcontrollers) there should be at least 500 - 1000 hz options for the controller interfaces on these boards. To allow the manual setting of these polling rates, the settings could be changed via a switch such as the case with Tachyon mode.
If current boards would not support it then I believe that's something that could improve your future boards. Personally, I have tried increasing the xbox controller mode to 1000hz on my Wooting one, but it appears that this board at least cannot handle a consistent 1ms response time. Hopefully the arm based boards will work better.
