Hi, could you share the codes of the profiles that are relevant to this issue?

It would sound like you have a profile which is using Tachyon mode with the RGB Brightness being too high, causing unstable signal on the keyboard, so keys start spamming as a result

megamidget411 commented 7 months ago

i cant send the profile code i resetted the keyboard couple of times , i will try disable tachyon and turn down the RGB brightness first

megamidget411 commented 7 months ago

ok i reproduced the error . Here's the profile code Profile number 1 bd308cba08acb97b225ec513c16fcc5caf57 image

Profile number 2 d699050dc3cddabfe52c9c7bdc4d42b57a5d image

i was switching from 1 to 2 and then a mega slew of tabs (microsoft related tabs and aplications) were opened both profile ' global brightness was on 37% , regarding the error might be caused due to tachyon mode with brightness too high , as you said , but the error still occur.

starting from 0:18 u can see i try to click the tab but ended up closing them while not pressing the 'cross' at 0:31 i had to repluig the keyboard to stop the error

megamidget411 commented 7 months ago

after days of trying the reason that this error occurs i still unknown , i only fouind out the way to prevent it is switych profile right after i boot up my pc then just close the wootility web . If trying to switgch profile mid-game or just after opening other applications , the error will occur .

Hey, sorry for the delay. I don't know why but I wasn't getting notified about your comments until now.

Can you confirm if this happens only when switching inside of Wootility or if it also happens when switching profile on-board?

What firmware version are you using currently? I've released a couple of updates since your last mentioned firmware version. I don't necessarily expect

Could you also tell me how you have your keyboard connected to your PC? Are you using the stock cable connected directly to your PC? Do you have a hub? Have you tried any different ports/cables/configurations to see if they have any impact on the behaviour?

I'm not sure yet if your board is faulty or if this is a bug with the firmware

If you have Discord, you should DM me @syte.. It's a lot easier for me to do quick back and forth with you there

Confirming I have this same issue. Changing profiles sometimes results in keyboard spam.

It specifically seems to happen with this profile:

254c19b736b180e846c0799802cafcb53e00
Wootility v4.6.15 (Desktop)
OS: Windows
Device: Wooting 60HE Plus, v2.7.2

It is the default racing profile on my keyboard. Its brand new. Do I have a hardware defect, or is this a known issue with all boards?

Happens both on the web version and on the desktop version. I can neither load the profile with the app or by hotkey without having this happen. "

Can confirm this does not happen with the stock cable though. Seems to be something to do with power delivery on my extended cable. However, I have never had an issue with my other keyboards on this cable.

EDIT:

Confirmed the issue for myself. I am using a usb extender on my main setup. The wooting seems to have issues on extended USB cables as this isn't a problem with any of my other keyboards including ones with RGB.

This must affect the power draw somehow and the wooting is having issues with the long cables. Removing the extension and plugging directly into my system resolves the issue.

Can confirm it only happens on the hub , switching profile on board is completly fine , running smoothly . Been testing it back and forth . Currently on Firmware 2.7.3-beta.5 . Using stock cable , tried different ports and receiving the same error . Since i found out switching profile on board is completly fine , i uninstalled the wootility hub and stopped using wootility web once i finish editing my profiles .
