Bot walk after pressing some key ; not sure which though #53

Hey there guys! Just wanted to mention a recent issue I've been facing with the Wooting software recently. It's not the first time that this is happening, but sometimes when I'm in game, I accidentally press some button or sequence that makes wooting break and I'm not able to sprint after. All I can do is the bot walk or just the slow walk in Fortnite. I've checked the "Toggle Sprint" option is in fact disabled so I'm not too sure what's causing this. Please let me know if there is a common fix for this.

PS : I didn't find this problem in the issues list

Thank you :)

Hey yurivich,

I could not rediscover the problem you're facing, but I suspect a few things that could be happening here.

The mentioned ;: key in the title of this issue is fairly close to the P key. The keybind Ctrl + P by default is a shortcut to enable/disable the Double Movement app, that might be the key sequence you were hitting.

However even with that key combination, I could still not replicate the described behaviour. So to me it is more likely you are instead performing the action Force Jog from the Keybindings page: image

With that said, it should also be mentioned that Fortnite has a problem with the keybindings page (which usually occurs after major content updates) that prevent fully unbinding certain actions, putting those actions in a seemingly-unbound state where they actually still work when the previously bound key is pressed.

If that is the case here, we sadly cannot fix this problem as we are not related to Fortnite. But we have found a workaround for that which includes resetting all your keybindings to default. After which you can unbind actions again. To reset all your keybindings to default select one of the default presets from here: image
