UPDATES FOR 6.5

How to change sync status by duplicating patterns For changing the status of a pattern currently synced and used across your website. The best option is to duplicate it and change the synced status (you can do the same for theme patterns)

New UX for synced pattern editing Editing a synced pattern can be done directly on the Block's options bar:

  1. Click on Edit original and the pattern editor will open
  2. Perform the changes
  3. Click the Back button to return to the backend of the page or post Video: https://github.com/WordPress/Documentation-Issue-Tracker/assets/82057148/c8999457-96ef-4fbb-b22e-4c5cb27d6ac9

New Appearance > Patterns for classic themes Please check, I wasn't sure on what to look for here

The previous comment was updated to add the differences in the content of the article, and the description and images/videos for the updates for 6.5

@CalolanC Thank you for the updated screenshots and videos! I think everything is good, including the proposed sentences.

New Appearance > Patterns for classic themes Please check, I wasn't sure on what to look for here

How about adding the following text to "How to manage a Block Pattern"?

Tip: Since WordPress 6.5, users of the Classic theme can also manage patterns. Please select "Appearance" -> "Patterns" at Administration Screen.
