Differentiate "Edit Site" in a WordPress Multisite from "Edit Site" from the Full Site Editor experience #49216

What problem does this address?

On WordPress Multisites, there has already been an "Edit Site" in the WP toolbar for Site Admins that appears from the Dashboard. In the context of Multisites, the Edit Site link leads to /wp-admin/network/site-info.php?id={siteid}

While the label is identical to the Full Site Editing link which is only visible when you visit the site, they obviously serve very different purposes.

What is your proposed solution?

I think that one of the labels should be changed so that these are not identical. I think there might be many possible new names, but perhaps changing the multisite only label from "Edit Site" to "Edit Site Info" might be more descriptive and not be as confusing for Site Admins.

If I'm not wrong, this has been addressed on Core already. Right @audrasjb

Running the most recent WordPress, it appear that the label has been changed in the Dashboard dropdown menu, but on the page the link leads to, the still use the words "Edit Site" instead of using the words "Manage Site" which was what the link text was changed to:

Thanks for testing @beckej13820 That's very helpful. It seems like this should be moved to trac to address the missing inconsistency. Would you be up for creating the ticket there? https://core.trac.wordpress.org
