"Featured Image" and "Post type" features missing in Gutenberg editor #62562

Description

"Featured Image" and "Post type" features were missing in the Gutenberg editor. I enabled the Default WordPress Theme (Twenty Twenty-Four) and disabled all the plugins, but still no success. Then I installed the "Gutenberg" plugin on my WordPress website and all the features were back to work.

Now, I uninstalled it and now all works again. I'm wondering if this was a temporary glitch. I'm running several WordPress websites in production and in none of those this problem happened.

Step-by-step reproduction instructions

  1. Go to WordPress Dashboard
  2. "New Post"
  3. On the right side, it was unable to find the "Featured Image" option or change the Post type

@federicosamperi I wasn't able to replicate this. Can you share a video of your experience? I tried using WP 6.5.4 and WP 6.6 beta 2 to be safe.
