The Quick Edit in DataViews experiment enables an additional panel in the data views that shows an additional UI.
To my understanding, this UI is meant to be the equivalent, more modern and redesigned, version of the 'Quick Edit' form in the classic list tables for posts, pages, etc.
So far, this additional ui is called 'Details panel'.
I'm not sure this is an appropriate, meaningful name that allows users to predict and understand what this UI is about. Actually, this is an UI to edit the fata views objects properties. It's about editing. Sure, it enables users to see additional details but its primary purpose is to edit these details.
Given that the terminology 'Quick Edit' has been in use for ages in WordPress and users are very familiar with it, I don't see a good reason to change this convention and use the new name 'Details panel'. For a better usere experience, I'd like to propose to keep the terminology that is most familiar for users: 'Quick Edit'.
A 'Quick Edit' heading at the top of the panel would be beneficial as well.
Step-by-step reproduction instructions
Go to the WordPress admin > Gutenberg > Experiments and enable the 'Quick Edit in DataViews' experiment.
Go to the Site editor > Pages.
Switch to the Table view or Grid view.
In the data views top bar, observe the label of the button to toggle this panel is 'Details panel'.
Open the panel.
Observe there's no heading at the top of the panel to communicate what this panel is about.
