community.wordpress.org homeserver doesn't support password or OIDC login #11

Expected Behavior

All Matrix clients should be able to log in to the WP instance (is that the right term for Matrix?).

Actual Behavior

https://matrix.org/ecosystem/clients/ reports Element X as a viable client for Matrix on iOS, however trying to use that app to login to the WP instance does not work and gives the following error message:

The selected homeserver doesn't support password or OIDC login. Please contact your admin or choose another homeserver.

Alternatively, perhaps we maintain a list of known viable clients for the WP matrix instance starting with the list of clients/environments noted on https://matrix.org/ecosystem/clients/?
