WP.org site feedback: Why aren't Playground docs hosted on WP.org? #1530

https://wordpress.github.io/wordpress-playground/ - shouldn’t this live on WordPress.org/playground directly? Looks a bit weird that we’re not using WordPress to manage that content.

@jdevalk using WordPress to manage documentation is one of the next projects we'll be working on – WordPress for Docs. Tl;dr current workflows for collaborating on documentation in WordPress are tedious. I'd like to have both:

A public content repository with source files, issue tracker, and collaboration workflows
A WordPress-based editing workflow and a WordPress site to render it
