Playground is not there yet, but it is headed in that direction. More specifically, that would be a great use-case for the Site Transfer Protocol (and real-time site sync). I know Asia Ragin was also interested in a similar use-case. Let's use this issues for stewing on ideas and sharing related updates.

Hi, I've just listened to a presentation at WordCamp Gdynia.
The prelection opened new doors in my brain and I thought that maybe it would be possible to use Playground to create something like a standalone multisite?
We have a lot of clients in our company on wordpress.com hosting, which does not support the Multisite option. So I thought that maybe it would be possible to connect several pages with Playground, mainly for content synchronization, cross-publishing, multisearch. Thanks to this, clients could have extremely different pages on WordPress, and at the same time be connected by such a Playground hub.
What do you think about it?
