gx-v0.1.0 No synthetic vision/black screen on Xcub #1105

Open SillyMaritimo opened 3 years ago

SillyMaritimo commented 3 years ago

On dev6 version the synthetic vision is not there, only the normal artificial horizon. I tried turning it off and on in pfd settings. On dev5 the screen is black entirely. This was tested with no other mods at the time. Without gx-v0.1.0., the synthetic vision works as intended. I'll be happy to provide any other information required.

Seemingly reinstalling the mod fixed it

However, the normal mode is now all black after reinstalling

20210412210453_1 20210412210512_1 Update: Issue persists in VL-3, although different a bit, you can see in corners of screen where should be synthetic vision with its on (edges of mountains visible) and off (black edges).

We are aware of this issue and are actively trying to solve it. It predates WU4, and I have been unable to reproduce it at all on my own system. But we finally have the same issue showing up for someone else on the team, and we're going to be digging into it with the intent of releasing a fix in the next few days if at all possible.

I have this issue with the synthetic vision partially visible on the sides of the stock VL-3 when using the latest Working Title gx package.

I’m a programmer, but I have very little experience working on frontend stuff. I would be willing to fiddle with development tools as required to get you whatever information you might need to diagnose. Thank you for the great work.

I have the same issue and am writing this hoping that a fix will be found and I'll be notified when it gets released. Appreciate all your help on your development team. I too was a former programmer, but am retired now. I would prefer to leave it that way and just become a "User" in my retirement.
