@Topgun13807 Are you sure your sim and content is actually updated to SimUpdate 7? It should have the version 1.21.13.0 in the window title. The CJ4 12.8 should not work in SU7 and in fact give you white screens whereas 12.9+ should not. So something is turned on its head in your case.
First of all, thank you for responding to my Email so promptly. I’m sure you guys are very busy. You need to be congratulated on all the good work you’re doing so that we, the end users, can enjoy flying.
I’ve responded to your questions below (highlighted in YELLOW) and have also outlined what I’ve done this morning since receiving your Email.

“Yes”. It wasn’t until I downloaded this huge update that I started to have problems.

I’ve noticed that when Asobo issues an update, it is generally if not always is accompanied by a Workingtitle update. So after updating MSFS to 1,21,13,0 I automatically went to your website to download your update. I’ve also learned that downloading the latest versions of any mod add-ons/liveries is also a good idea. This is where the problems started with importing simBrief Flight Plans and the white display screens mentioned in my original Email to you. I’ve been in computers dating back to the early 80’s and when I couldn’t get my updates working the way they should, I decided to try your Workingtitle v0.12.8. This brought back the displays from the white screen mentioned earlier but it didn’t correct all the issues. Then I noticed that Workingtitle had quickly issued a v0.12.10 shortly after 1.21.13.0 was released so I thought this would correct my issues but it didn’t. I also tried switching liveries of the CJ4 back to one of the defaults that came with the program but that didn’t work either.
It wasn’t until I received your Email suggesting that I update the “cockpit texture mod” that I realized that I should be updating that mod as well. My comments here are to be taken as constructive criticism and not a complaint. I’ve found in my career that it’s far too easy to criticize the work of others but much more difficult to actually do the work. When I look at your site, I can clearly see that a new version of Workingtitle is available for download. But it was not at all clear to me that I should be updating the “cockpit texture mod”. For one thing it is located on the “Repaints” page and I just naturally assumed that it was another “add-on mod” that was optionally available. Being quite happy with the default CJ4 cockpit, I just ignored it. My suggestion is, if it’s important to download this mod at the same time I’m updating the Workingtitle files then it might be better located with a “download button” beside the download for Workingtitle updates. Just one man’s opinion.
I did a number of things this morning including:
Whatever I did this morning seems to have worked and corrected all of my issues and I can’t thank you enough for your time and suggestions. This is such an amazing and complicated piece of software and Asobo, Workingtitle and any other vendors involved deserve our praise for the hard work they’ve done and continue to do.
I am probably guilty of quickly skim reading your notes and probably missed the “Official Cockpit Texture Mod” installation. Perhaps my suggestion of moving it closer to the Workingtitle Updates Download with a visible “Download Button” would make it more obvious to the End Users, given that some of us are doing it for the first time. You might also want to put a Version Number beside the title of the download to indicate that a new version is available.
In short, GREAT JOB! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

@Topgun13807 The cockpit texture mod is not official or from Working Title; the suggestion here was merely that if you have that mod installed, then you will need to upgrade it. It is not a required addon.
Glad you were able to get your issues sorted.
