Project Title and description

ISA testing

Which members of the community would benefit from your work?

Unclear

Is the code that you’re going to run 100% open source? If so, what is the URL or URLs where it is located?

Probably - not completely sure yet.

What infrastructure (computing resources and network access) do you need? (see: https://www.packet.net/bare-metal/)?

Cloud - only occasional access to just run a few very simple tests (if that is possible).

Let us know if you need short-term (one time) support, or if this is a request for continuous ongoing support. If possible, please identify foundations or other support organizations that can help with long-running projects.

Describe the continuous integration (CI) system in use or desired for this project.

Really just very brief logins with very short tests, just investigating ISA feature support and basic instruction execution.

Please state your contributions to the open source community and any other relevant initiatives

Brag a little bit about yourself, please!

I have really never developed in the open source realm. I'm a hardware person focusing on instruction set development and have many patents in this realm. My request here is for that instruction set investigation and not in SW development. But I'm hoping the minimal resource consumption will be reasonable to support.

Thanks, Bret Toll
