Memex extension breaks https://package.elm-lang.org/ #1164

  1. Can you describe the problem and bug in more detail?

After installing Memex, https://package.elm-lang.org/ does no longer work properly; for example, clicking on packages will no longer open the site for the package documentation and search does not work; Javascript errors are flooding the developer console. Enabling/disabling the Memex extension toggles this behaviour.

  1. How can we replicate the issue?

I am using the latest Firefox on Ubuntu. I already tried a few months ago, and a few months before that, and I had the exact same problem both times, so it seems not to be very version-specific. I think it will be easy to replicate for you.

In case that you cannot replicate it, I am happy to provide more detailed descriptions of my system and the error messages -- let me know!
