Loading PDF breaks URL #1224

  1. Can you describe the problem and bug in more detail? When I load a PDF in Chrome Version 96.0.4664.110 (Official Build) (x86_64) Instead of showing the native URL I see the following in the address bar:

Memex chrome-extension://abkfbakhjpmblaafnpgjppbmioombali/pdfjs/viewer.html?file=https://url_to_pdf.pdf

  1. How can we replicate the issue? load a remotely hosted PDF in Chrome

  2. Expected behavior (i.e. solution) Expected to show the native path to the PDF: https://url_to_pdf.pdf
