I've been testing a number of tours in both Chrome and Safari. In Chrome, I can pause a tour successfully, but when I resume the tour, the tour and changing views continue, but the sound disappears (true on W5 Star Forming Region tour). In Safari, it's possible to pause a tour, and the sound works consistently after pausing, but there is no clear way to return to the landing screen for the web-client. Reloading the page or hitting the back arrow take users back to the main WWT website. Image below is from Safari where web-client gets stuck in tour mode.
We will need to fix in the tour or remove the tours from the database for the web client. Fixing could be from a script or manually

This is a really old thread but currently there is no sound at all in Safari with a bunch of the tours (haven't tested them all, the ones I tested do not have sound)
@calluna We've seen some of this more recently. I think that what's going on here, in at least some cases, is that browsers are blocking audio/video autoplay, and they treat what WWT is doing as an instance of that. If you stop a tour and replay it from the start in the webclient, does that make the sound come back for you?
@pkgw I have tried to replay multiple times and it always stops at the exact same point, both for Chrome as well as Firefox; so I don't think that is the case here. Also, for Safari the sound doesn't play at all.
@calluna Is there one particular tour demonstrating these symptoms? Which one?
The intro tour stops for Chrome and Firefox (around mars) For safari, none of them are playing correctly (so that's most likely a separate issue)
Example: Galileo's New Order. Silent for first couple of slides, followed by a clicking sound. At some point, I heard a brief flash of the narration.
