Enhance the UI experience by automatically displaying the layer controls in the layer manager. Provide a link to "more information" about the selected layer.

[x] Opacity control
[x] Legend
[x] Time Series
[ ] Sort buttons
[ ] Info button (shows attribution, abstract, metadata)
