In the future, it would be great to integrate the curation status of specific data types into the author page so authors can track the curation progress of their paper.
We would include information in the author email to let them about this feature of the author page.
Other thoughts:
1) Send authors an email when curation of their paper is complete?
2) Show curator comments on data types so that if the author flagging was incorrect, they can see why.
