@raymond91125 Are these the correct terms for life stage?
Single-cell Embryo -> 1-cell embryo Ce 2-cell Embryo -> 2-cell embryo Ce 4-cell Embryo -> 4-cell embryo Ce Post-egg-laying adult (unmated) -> post-reproductive stage adult hermaphrodite Ce Post-egg-laying adult (mated) -> post-reproductive stage adult hermaphrodite Ce Aged Adult (Animals >7 days old) -> 7-days post-L4 adult hermaphrodite Ce

@raymond91105 I've been browsing through the life stage link that you posted earlier, and I only see life-stage ontologies for C elegans and Strongyloides. Is there anywhere to get the terms for the other Wormbase organisms, or are those two the only ones that have been defined?
Also working on this in branch dev-life-stages.
Likely any species-specific life stage should a subtype of the corresponding general term. When the species-specific ones don't conform to standard nomenclature, we then define new ones. Noted that the current ontology may be overloaded unnecessarily. (I haven't surveyed.) Perhaps provide a way for the user to submit new ones (for curator consideration) when they are needed.
Here are the ones I have: '1-cell embryo', '2-cell embryo', '4-cell embryo', 'Embryo', 'L1', 'L1 arrest', 'L2', 'L2d', 'Dauer', 'L3', 'L4', 'Young Adult', 'Adult', 'Post-reproductive stage adult', '7-days post-L4 adult'
Life-stages to choose from in the metadata should include:
**** indicate that Raymond should approve these, since some of these life-stages may have different annotations in wormbase.
