5 years ago Turns out the compression issue is not actually a bsdtar and gnutar issue. It was because all the contents of the analysis folders (1_qc, 2_alignment, 3_diff_exp) were being added to the root of the archive, leading to weird behavior. Each of the folders themselves should be added to the root of the archive.
