Before actor arrives at lab:

make sure the Metahuman Animator recording button works from within Unreal
set bluetooth mic as sound input device
delete files from iPhone

Metahuman Identity recording

first do the metahuman identity recording
so set up the iPhone on a tripod

Turning everything on

Open up SteamVR without the Headset running
activate each vive tracker
turn on headset
restart steamvr message
activate controllers (or pair if necessary)
use Desktop shortcut to start Unreal Editor MariaMocap2
add LiveLinkXR data

Calibration

when putting on the trackers, you can open Manage Trackers in SteamVR to see which tracker has which role.
3rd person camera
calibration
press right on right controller to go to the camera view which allows me to keep an eye on tracking quality
do a test take after calibration and check that everything is being saved, audio and animation

Start Recordings

plug in all trackers to charge them a bit
set up the monitor
set up the laptop with the texts
