Replacing words in text input fields #328

I don't know how I can disable it from replacing words in text input fields, this is annoying, when I fight fake news based on certain words and when I then need to type that word in another context in another web page it modifies the text in the input field and return the carriage so the text also become messed up as I type.

You can restrict rules to specific URLs or exclude other URLs (if you add it with a - at the beginning; e.g. if you add -example.com URL the substitutions won't be applied there).

I am not talking about URLs. If I see a foul word, like profanity anywhere on this site, or anywhere in the web, and I, for some reason need to type that word in order to mention it in a text box, it is replaced kike it was anywhere, also the cursor returns so that the text is messed up. It should not replace anything that I type myself, that is. So, it should ignore all stuff for text input inside tags like, for instance ""

Sorry for the late response. What you ask for is not implemented. It is in fact a variation of another requested feature that is #56.

From what you say I assume that you have enabled the "Replace every x seconds" feature. The only workaroud that I can offer while #56 is not implemented is to disable that option when you intend to type something. Or like I said before, exclude some websites from replacements.

It should be fixed. I am typing some "black listed" words here just to show what happens. This web main input field should be ignored by Fox Replace, that way nothing will behave like this. Example: The forbidden word here is unmentionable because of this issue, you have to believe me.

-> (skipped up here when I typed the name of a made up threat found in fake news)It is only fake news made up by some fanatic group. I try to fight fake news by using Foxreplace to filter it out, but Foxreplace has a bug that affects also the tyext input fields like those in web mail. It is not even possible to write debunking document that way or have a meaningul debate at badastronomy. There is no such planet like .
