doesnt work in ffox when opening pdf files from local computer/directory

opening pdf files with firefox on local computer doesn't work, no substitution happening.

It doesn't work with remote pdfs either. Pdfs are very different from HTML, XML, or any kind of text based format, so they won't be supported.
