A question about viral hallmark gene and viral-like gene #177

Hi, I have some confusion when analyzing AMG, so I hope I can get some help.

1.In the published papter of DRAM, the figure 6(a) display the definition of auxiliary score. How can I get each gene classification information about AMG or viral hallmark gene or viral-like gene? I can not find that in Virorter2 and DRAM output file.

2.According to the figure 6(a) we can see DRAM has done identification context of each auxiliary gene. But some papers also proposal to mamul identification context of each auxiliary genes have filtered by DRAM. Because I am not very professional in this field. So can I use the output file of distilled process directly?

Thank you very much for your help.

I have the same confusion. In my data, there are more than 20,000 non-redundant vOTUs. amg_summery.tsv obtained after DRAM-v distill step contains more than 20,000 putative AMGs, are these numbers abnormally high? Looking forward to your reply!
