Hi! Please, is DRAM suitable for the annotation of fungal assemblies? Thank you!

I am not personally knowledgeable about fungal metabolisms, but my takeaway from brief conversations with my betters suggest that while you would probably get some information from DRAM, you would probably be better off with FungiDB or some similar tool dedicated to fungus.

That said, DRAM has advantages that tool will not have. If you want to be experimental, you could use dram with one of the fugal databases using the custom db command line options. It will still depend on if the dram workflow is compatible with your use case. This is not the final word on this subject, one of someone may want to chime in and give more advice.
