Point releases don't usually get tagged here unless they are significant. The release will be updated shortly given the prevalence of some bug fixes, now that they have reached bioconda. As for the second part, yes there are things in the environment YAML that are may at times be different to the bioconda dependencies. You see, the yaml can be updated instantly whereas the Conda package takes a few days sometimes much longer. DRAM has many dependencies which often break, deviate from the advised installation process at your own risk.

Possibly I'm off-base here, but why not install from bioconda directly? Is there something in environment.yaml that isn't in the bioconda dependencies?
Also, why is the version 1.4.3 on bioconda but only 1.4.0 is tagged in this repo?
