DRAM-v databases #272

We are interested in mostly using the DRAM-v part of DRAM. In running the DRAM-setup.py prepare_databases command with no special options (no KEGG), we see that the database is quite large - and the update descriptions part building the sqlite db has been running for a couple days. We can handle running with the entire database, but for efficiency sake, I am curious, is the entire database necessary to run DRAM-v ? If not, which parts of it are used? Is all of uniref essential?

I think what you say makes perfect sense, so may I ask if you solved it? I'm experiencing the same problem.
