Overlay not coming up in fullscreen games #6

Hello, I've run into the issue of the app not coming up in fullscreen games in global mode. An example game is SCP: Secret laboratory. When I first installed the game the overlay worked properly. However after I restarted the game to fix a HUD bug ingame. It no longer works at all. Not sure if this is a fixable issue. The app will still work if you do the macro and then type in a message blindly.

Hi @GPiX1. Indeed it's a known issue but that's something I can't fix unfortunately as the app is not hooked to any window meaning it cannot be used as a "real" overlay. The current overlay is just a normal window that's on top of all others which is the best I could do when I designed the app as I was limited in term of technology.

What you can do however is to set the game as "windowed borderless" at your screen resolution if it allows it. That will more or less simulate fullscreen while keeping the app's overlay visible.

Implementing a real overlay was my initial goal and is still something I'm planning to look forward to in the future but for now it's one of the hardest feature to implement and I'm not sure if I can do it alone.

For now let me know if the fix I mentioned worked out for you, I'll leave the issue open if anyone has any idea how I could implement application hooks.

This Post is True and False in Multiple Games, as in PHASMAPHOBIA it is currently seeing success as a Gaming Tool and a overlay option in game.
