ForceOP doesn't stop after finding correct password #384

Closed TheWienerMaster closed 9 months ago

TheWienerMaster commented 3 years ago

Description

Like the title said, ForceOP doesn't recognize when the player has successfully logged in. And what's worse is that it makes the client unresponsive for a long enough period for you to be kicked out of the server. Luckily this plugin remembered and continued my previous session, so I didn't have to go through the whole process again (Found the correct password about 1200 tries in. In the end I had no ide what the password actually was).

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Find a server with LoginSequrity
  2. Make a dummy account with a predictable password (for testing I'd recommend something that would be in the first 10 passwords)
  3. Let ForceOP run. The "Don't wait for "Wrong Password" message" has to be ticked, because the server plugin says "invalid password" instead, and that isn't detected by ForceOP
  4. After logging in the Minecraft client should go unresponsive, while the ForceOP continues to "test"

Screenshot / Videos

In the first video you can see everything working smoothly, the plugin kicks you after 5 login attempts, but ForceOP is smart enough to pause and wait for autoreconnect https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/61437644/116027294-25b94400-a65d-11eb-91cd-f7769540187f.mp4

In the second video is where a login attempt was successful, but the client stops responding and ForceOP continues running https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/61437644/116027351-4b464d80-a65d-11eb-925f-af0bc928805e.mp4

Just in case a picture of the plugins that were on the server: image

In the second video it looks like the success message is in Russian. If so, that would be why ForceOP didn't detect it.

TheWienerMaster commented 3 years ago

Sorry i just realized the video was a little scuffed. For whatever reason when i typed /logout then the session was continued after i got kicked and rejoined. You can see a little bit of it right after the invalid password text: image

A better image of a successful login: image

The actual login message doesn't seem to be translated, so it should still be in english, only the info message is in russian. And that shouldn't matter
