I tried using Helvetica Neue Interface (top-left, chatFont.fnt is "Helvetica Neue DeskInterface" so should be close). On 100% the text looks oddly aliased, especially the middle of "S". It starts looking pretty much the same as the in-game at 175%, but then the "a" is smaller than "m" and "e".

TeX Gyre Heros (bottom-left) is similar to Helvetica and it's a bit bolder and thinner.

Right side is the default font, bottom-right has font-weight: 500.

Bottom-left is really really close to chatFont and letters such as aeoucnrs don't have various heights, so I'm choosing this one. image
