(1.14.4) Secret gate does not retract, and secret stairs are just one solid block #31

Using any of the 1.14.4 versions of this mod, the secret gate does not retract when it is not being powered, and the secret stairs behave as one solid block rather than as stairs.

I have a feeling this mod isn't being worked on anymore given how long ago it was since its last update, and the issues it experiences, but if it is to be continued to work on in the future, would it be too much to ask to fix these two blocks so they can actually be used in 1.14.4?

Unless there's been an update since I posted that, yes I haven't actually used it in a year
