Failed to launch JVM #31

When I try to launch the mod installer, it flashes on screen for a second, and then is replaced by a window stating "Failed to launch JVM" Method to reproduce:

Download latest release
Installed java from both java.com and adoptium.net
Install all
Launch and see error

Most likely I'm doing something dumb wrong.

I'm having the same problem. I'm using Ubuntu 22.04 if that matters. Launchy does work for me.
