Did you right click on the .bat file and Run As Admin?

I have the same issue when restarting the mining process after previously running it without issue. I've found restarting the system, and then right-clicking and running as admin will work. It seems like it just ends in a weird state if you kill the process, then try to restart with admin privileges again.

I'll try that, nothing else works. @WyvernTKC yes. Even set each .exe to make sure. it's something to do with winring0 brb

N6REJ commented 2 years ago

same error. incase it helps here's the full screen... image This only happens with cpuminer-gr

I have the exact same problem. Windows 10 with Ryzen 5 5600x. XMRig, Nicehash/XMRig have no problems running WinRing0 but could not get it working with cpuminer-gr after tinkering with it for a few hours.

Note: Per #155 as well, I uninstalled any Razer software, and checked via a variety of methods that nothing else was accessing WinRing0. There seems to be something specific to this binary/build that is causing issues.

I've got a solution but I can't figure out how to restart the service... as soon as I can figure that part out I'll post the video & code on how to fix it.
