Description

From the moment of the initial commit (28th of May 2019) till now(date of BP), operating in "shadows", X-Payment has played an important part of the X-Network as a medium for X-cash /X-Network ecosystem promotion tool over Discord.

As of today, it has been integrated into 47 servers, with executed 29,231 transactions/payments between Discord Users (3187 registered wallets) with total volume of 87 million XCASH. While this stats might not seem to be much of a weight, however looking from the perspective of the X-Network and its ecosystem stats (XCASH chain, X-Bank) and the intent of X-Payment, I (as a developer behind it) can say that there is far more potential when bridging new Discord users with the X-Cash/X-Network ecosystem.

However, to be able to further promote the ecosystem and upgrade/extend its functionality, it requires a complete refresh/update. System relays a lot on various other packages which are required to be updated and with them as well the structure of the core code and commands available to users/community owners. Once this is done, further expansions/new functionalities will be able to be developed.

Prerequisites

required skills and knowledge area are: python syntax and relevant core and 3rd party integrated libraries, understanding of X-Payment blueprint and how it operates, XCASH chain characteristics and RPC commands, MongoDB queries and role in the X-Payments system.

As i have been working on X-Payment from the start till the release, I have full competence in making it possible, as well as plans in order to take it even beyond just the Discord system for P2P micro payments. I have been expanding my competences meanwhile as well on numerous other projects which utilizing platforms such as Discord, Twitch, Slack and Twitter, and in some cases integrate as well other cryptocurrency chains.

Milestones / Deliverables

Update will be considered to be done when:

Current deposit and withdrawal processing script is shifted from standalone to integrated/interconnected part of the X-Payment
All commands currently available for owners/team/discord users to be updated to new API/Package requirements and fully operational
Project complete structure remake
Automatic notification on statistics to Discord community fixed
Other required updates which are are identified throughout the process.
