2 years ago Hi, Thanks a lot for your feedback and sorry for late reply. This bug is due to non standard header for some games First you can try the no header software version: https://github.com/X-death25/MD-Dumper/blob/main/Software/Release/Windows/No%20Header.zip After that could you send me the dumped result , i will add some code for bypass header read when header is not fully standard.
I will also made a Discord Server.

Thank you for getting back to me. I've downloaded the no header software and will give that a try. I'm away from home at the moment so will give it a go next week and let you know how I get on.

2 years ago Hi,
I can do a manual dump of the cartridge using the no header software version. Dumping using manual at a size of 1024KB. the resulting file contains a valid dump of the game and the SHA matches with those recorded on no intro and Sega Retro. I have emailed you with the resulting dump attached, but new to github, so not sure whether it has reached you or not.

Hi,
I have two original copies of Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II (One European cartridge and one Japanese cartridge). Both exhibit the same behaviour when trying to dump them using MD-Dumper. The cartridges initialise fine and the header information is displayed correctly. When I input '1' from the menu the software exits with no error message - it does not progress to the menu where you select manual or automatic mode.
I'm running the software on Windows 10 Pro. I have cleaned both cartridges thoroughly so I do not think this is a connection problem and both cartridges run fine in my Mega Drive.
Happy to run some tests, or provide a log file given some advice/instructions to help squash this bug.
