Would you be able/willing to modify this so that it works with Rift? Would be 
fantastic if you could.

Sorry, I don't have rift so I can't really help with this request. The code is 
open source, so perhaps this question would be best on rift forums where there 
may be programmers?

I am closing this out since I do not have rift or the time to go implement this 
for Rift. Code remains open for whoever has time and the game to reuse this 
code for rift.
