Sort by subscribed items. #316

Description Allow to sort by subscribed items. Sometimes I just subscribe to a new collection in the workshop, and don't want to bother verifying files so it can download the mods again. This way, I can just unsubscribe and keep the mods downloaded and subscribe to a new collection.

Suggest a solution Add subscribed sorting option.

Your suggestion is not clear.

Hello. Hopefully I can clarify this:

Add a sort option, just like the "New", "Hidden", etc sorting options. This sorting option shows only the mods that you are currently subscribed to in the steam workshop.

I find this useful so I don't have to download the mods again, I can just unsubscribe to them and subscribe to a new mod collection. Then I would sort by subscribed mods and enable them on AML.

When you unsubscribe from a workshop mod, steam automatically deletes it.

Thehail commented 2 years ago

Alright I thought the new option that showed the unsubscribed mods kept them in the folders. Then it's pointless since it will have to download them anyway.

The new "Unsubscribe" feature does exactly that, "Unsubscribe" the mod from Steam. As Iridar pointed out, Steam then deletes the data automatically. Its just a usability feature. Instead of

  1. opening Steam
  2. searching and unsubscribing the desired mod(s)
  3. update mod list in AML

you now just have to

  1. select mods in AML and "unsubscribe"

The same goes for re-subscribing to a mod.
