Strange blackscreen profiling bug #223

This issue does not cause a crash, and so I have no crash log (but let me know what other logs may be useful)

I am operating a huge modpack which has always had mystcraft in it with no problems (at least, that I know were definitely related to it) and decided to cut down on the mods.

I uninstalled heaps of them and started up the game to test it, only to discover that mystcraft wanted to profile before it'd let me play singleplayer. After leaving that for 6 hours to no avail, I decided to uninstall mystcraft, only to discover that doing so causes a strange bug in which the main menu will completely fail to render (black screen) and my cursor will be stuck on the window, rubberbanding back any time I try to move it (although it is possible to drag it across the screen if you keep moving it). Despite the black screen, the invisible buttons can still be clicked if the mouse is dragged to them, and every menu besides the main menu will work fine (if you can get to it), as does the actual game itself.

Completely deleting everything to do with mystcraft doesn't change the error, and keeping mystcraft installed while changing any config setting related to profiling will also cause the blackscreen problem, so it's probably a profiling issue?

I don't know if this error would happen to someone else who downloads my modpack and tries to play with me, I haven't tested that.

I'm not sure how removing Mystcraft could cause errors unless something depended on it. Sorry, doesn't sound like a Mystcraft error at that point.
