Implement Student Invitation Feature

Objective: Enable teachers to invite new students to the platform.

Functionalities:

• Bulk Invitations:

  1. Allow teachers to upload a .txt file where each line contains a student's email address.
  2. Validate the format of each email before processing.

• Single Invitations:

  1. Provide an endpoint for teachers to invite a single student by entering their email address.
  2. Validate the email format and check for existing accounts to prevent duplicates.

• Invitation Handling:

  1. Generate a unique registration link or registration code for each invitation.
  2. Send an email to each invited student containing the unique link or code.
  3. Ensure that the registration link or code expires after a certain period for security.

• Security Considerations:

  1. Prevent unauthorized access to the invitation endpoints.
  2. Ensure that only users with the Teacher role can send invitations.
