Perhaps in addition to examples, it would be good to provide links to software implementations of the examples. Acknowledge that this requires a lot of effort, but it may facilitate these data visualization standards being adopted. For instance, it’s not that easy to find a population pyramid that labels the y axis on both sides of the chart. The only example I could find was in SAS, which would be useful for readers, especially those working in government, where I understand SAS is used more frequently.
