Hello, I was playing the randomizer on 3.0.0
Where did u got the randomizer for 3.0.0 version?? I can't find it anywhere
This randomizer works with the current game, just not the options to randomize abilities/types/moves. If you have already randomized the game on any version past 1.3 and do not have moves/types, replace the personal_array.bin that was generated by the randomization and applied with trinity mod loader with the personal_array.bin from the base game. This does not affect any of the randomized overworld encounters or trainer randomization. This is what I did to at least make the game playable as a randomizer on the switch.
Essentially, follow the directions the creator provided. After everything has been created and the romfs folder is created, go into trinity mod loader. In the tree view, find the personal_array.bin and save the file. After you have that save file, drag it into the romfs folder that was created for the randomization mod. This is what I did to get it working, and will reset the game to have the types/moves/abilities found in the base game.
If you turn off the "personal_data_randomizer" option in the config.json, this should have the same effect, but I haven't tested that yet. This is more if you have already randomized the file and are having the issues with types/moves being bugged (i.e, type showing as something like "type icon" or you having no moves and cannot learn any, so you only can struggle.)
Where is the personal_array.bin file? I am looking in tree mode but I can't find it
Hello, I was playing the randomizer on 3.0.0 and encountered the issue where typing and moves were missing. The workaround for now that I have found is that you can copy the personal_array.bin from the romfs file dumped from the base game (you can obtain this through Trinity Mod Loader in the tree view option), and replacing your completed mod romfs file with that personal_array.bin from the base game. Now, that does mean that the moves and typings will not be randomized, however your other settings, like trainers being randomized and randomized encounters will still remain. This is just a good alternative for those that don't need randomized moves and types like me. This also has worked in the most recent update and with the DLC from what I have tested so far.
