I'm not going to add a feature to enable this. If you can edit the
framework-res then go right ahead...

I can edit the framework-res, but don't I need to edit the framework.odex for
the modification to work? Furthermore, there are no lines about the navigation
bar on the vool.xml file on your framework-res :/
Well, sorry to bother you and thanks for the answer.

I edited the framework-res.apk, changed the settings required for the
navigation bar to work, it doesn't work, it gives a bootloop. :/

Ok so I did a little research and the navbar is not disabled in the rom. BUT...
The config_showNavigationBar is NOT in values/bool.xml but in values/config.xml
Also the odex file is created when making an "odexed" rom. Grab the android
kitchen and deodex it... it will put the odex file back in the apk. I don't
know why you have an odex file in your rom because my rom is not odexed. That
is quite weird...
Just to be on the safe side grab framework-res.apk from the zip file and modify
it.
Now a question to you since this just popped in my mind... Are you sure you are
using the ICS version of the rom? The ICS version in deodexed BUT the GB
version is odexed...

There is no config.xml in the values folder :/
I did a search in all the folders and there is no "config.xml" on the
framework-res.apk from the oxygen-for-p500_1.0.0 ROM. :/
About the odex thing it seems I was trying to edit the 2.8 version (GB), with
no luck.

It worked like a charm, thanks a lot for this. :D
Could I ask you what files do I need to edit in order to add the menu button on
the navigation bar? I have only two working buttons on my phone and I keep
remapping them in order to keep using the phone. ._. !

I have no idea... I think it's a bit more complex than editing one file...

NVM, the button is there, it just changes to a 3 squares animation on apps and
stuff, thanks for taking your time to help me. (:

Hi guys, this procedure is always good for the 1.1.0 version of this rom? If
not, someone can write a little "how to" and I will try to do this on my own.
Thank you very much for your help.
I think that the navigation bar is the only thing that lack in this rom, if you
want to add it in your rom, I think that a lot of people appreciate it.
Mihai, a special thanks for all your hard work, your rom is awesome!
(Sorry for my English, I do my best.)

I enjoyed the discussion above and share your concern for inclusion of nav bar
in Oxygen ICS 1.1.0 ROM. Did you get a solution, if so please help me to
resolve the issue.

Yes, he gave me a modified framework that enabled the navigation bar, let
me get home and I'll upload it for you, if you can't wait you can use the
LMT launcher, it enables the PIE control and it works better than the
navigation bar anyways. :D
